Photographer

Committing myself to a photo a day has been amazing. It has become as essential as fulfilling basic needs. I have watched my resistance, blaming the dark days and ugly grayness of this time of year and the limitations of my camera. All true and yet, some decent to good images have been found daily. I think I can actually call myself a photographer again and that feels good. For my days off this week, my goals are to get my website at least somewhat together and to download the drivers for the new old scanner I was given months ago. I hope this continues when I have to go back to working five days a week again.

A Positive Note

Today will be my seventh day of photo blogging – a photo a day – and I’m finding this frustrating (lack of light / lack of time), but also very fulfilling. It’s opening up my eyes and senses in the darkest time of the year.
